What are the technical standards of silicone rubber tubes? In life, we are evaluating the pros and cons of silicone tubes. Generally, we can use visual inspection, smell and tools to evaluate the appearance, smell and mechanical testing of silicone tubes.

Different silicone tubes are applied to different products, and their test requirements are also different. Generally, the standards for the quality of silicone tubes are defined in terms of packaging, instructions, color, smell, tensile test and aging test.

1. Outer packaging: "Visual inspection": Visual inspection of the outer packaging surface is clean and tidy, free of pollution and damage.
2. Logo: "Visual inspection": The logo is printed clearly and without damage. Basic information such as model, name, weight, manufacturer, date of manufacture, and expiration date should be indicated.
3. Instructions: "Visual inspection": The product instruction manual should be attached, and the instruction manual should contain the following contents:
a. Information on technical parameters such as main ingredients, opening time, curing time, etc.
b. Detailed usage.
c. Storage method and precautions.
4. Appearance: "Visual inspection": The extruded silica gel should be a paste, no bubbles, no crusting, smooth, no slumping paste, and no foreign matter.
5. Curing status: "Blade": The blade is extruded for at least 10cm, and after it is completely cured, a section is cut every 5mm, and the cut surface has no pores.
6. Color: "Visual inspection": The color should meet the design requirements without obvious color difference.
7. Odor: "smell": no strong irritating odor.
8. Extrusion: "Actual measurement": the extrusion is smooth and the paste shape is good.

Physical and chemical properties
1. Tensile test: mechanical testing machine ≥1.5MPa (except for silica gel with special requirements)
2. Hot and cold cycle: high temperature 60℃, 2h; low temperature 20℃, 2h is one cycle, 3 consecutive cycles.
3. Water resistance: soaked for 12h after curing with water-immersed silica gel, there is no obvious change.
4. Aging resistance: the test report conforms to the national standard.
